Med river festival.

For all those lucky enuff not to have been forced into boating in all that nasty hot weather down in the S.of France/spain etc during July,the 28th Maidstone river festival will be taking place over the weekend 26/27th.Why sit in the sun with decent wine and good value seafood down there,when you can have an expensive undercooked burger and a warm coke(not that sort),while sitting in rain over here.
So c,mon Mudwayers wheres your spirit of adventure,remember its normally only the first two or three boats going past New Hythe who will need new propellers./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Will leave Rochester around 8 ish on the friday.HW at 10.30 Rochester Bridge.
airdraft at Aylesford only prob for bigger flybridge stuff,but tides bit manky so no probs if early enough.Need to watch for bits of rubbish passing New Hythe.
Lock open 2 hours before and 3 after HW.
At town centre south bank is mainly stern too mooring for mainly posh stuff which can fill up days in advance.I normally moor on quieter north bank with better view of fireworks.In order not to be totally out classed we would recommend at the very least a couple of bazooka type water pistols or pref a decent pressure hose./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
