21 Feb 2009 #2 S Skyva_2 Guest For a foresail or staysail, measure the sides of the triangle of head, tack and clew. Mainsail, measure luff and foot. Spinnaker, measure luff from head to clew and foot between clews. A buyer may want more detail but the above should satisfy for an ad.
