Measuring MPG

Thanks for the link which worked on my work copmputer I couldn't get it to make the relevant selections last night.

It seems they don't really do a twin engine set up you just get 2 single engine set ups. With navman it was 1 head and 2 sets of sensors.
And it's very expensive.

Navman did a diesel one (the 3100 was petrol and the 3200 diesel)
Northstar only do the F310 which is the old petrol 3100.

Whilst northstar don't do the diesel fuel computer, it seems all their plotters have a fuel computer built in. So I could get a small plotter and 2 sets of sensors for less than the price of the twin floscan unit and have a back up GPS device for free.

However if the floscan is so much better maybe it's worth the money. I don't understand what's better about it though.

I can't beleive there isn't more choice for MPG instruments.

Yes, with a single volvo display you can display data for 2 engines side-by-side (display splits into left/right halves), or for one engine or the other, and you can show fuel burn for each engine seperately or for the two engines combined :-)
