MDL normally only feature in our discussions when someone is unhappy about mooring charges.

Can I therefore be the first to publically thank them for their support for the forum meet.

Well done /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Well said!

They have been most generous to us, this year and last year, and Jon Eads who has sponsored us this year, like his predecessor John Watson last year, is a guenuinely nice guy and a credit to an organisation which often takes some stick on these forums.

Similarly, Debbie Burns, the lovely lady who has to sort out how we fit this motely crew of boats in to Mercury, and gets about 10 emails a day from me when things are drawing to a close, and never fails to be both helpful, and polite ( I wouldn't be half so polite if I received some of the emails I send, with ever changing requirements!)

Thank you for the kind words.
MDL is truly customer focussed and, although things will go wrong from time to time, it is pleasing to note the change in general opinion of the company.
Sitting here in Bangkok reading the web-site makes me homesick so I'm off for a Tiger beer in the sun now!

Well !!! I for one have a complaint. They haven't been over to see me since last year to buy me lunch. I'm getting hungry again.
