MDL Cruising Club

As an occasional visitor to MDL marinas I was interested to see the advert/link from YBW site in which MDL offer membership of their cruising club for visitors which offers a free nights berthing every 7 (not consecutive fortunately) nights visitors berth paid for-have sent e mail to MDL as suggested but to date no reply-has anyone succeeded in getting a reply and joining the club?

PS Be great if the scheme could be extended to other marinas too.

Yes I remember that. I was a berthholder of theirs for seven years at Port Hamble and part of the deal was that you got so many "free" nights in their other marinas whilst they re-let yours at a high rate and pocket the proceeds. I left the boat at Torquay for around a month which used up mu "free" blue tickets and left me with a charge for over a week. They did deduct the free day for staying over a week and gave me a credit that would allow me a free day somewhere else too.

Now I'm not sure if they still run the scheme but I'm sure that a phone call to one of their port offices (24x7) will gain the necesary info.

When you visit an MDL marina you cam pick up a cruising club card and the staff will activate it for you.
