MD6a gearbox

Does anyone now which way the gearbox selector quadrant moves for forward and reverse gear?.

I have sort out connecting up a new control lever.

Which gearbox you got then?

If its relatively ‘young’ MD6 then you may very have an early MS2 box, that being the case then these can rotate either LH or RH for ahead gear, so only you knowing your propeller rotation can answer that one.

If its an older model then you would expect to see an old MS box or even the old RB box…. And I’m not that bloody old so not overly certain on these boxes. But like the MS2 I have an idea that these were not handed either.

Sorry to state the obvious but i would suggest if you can you try it manually first!
