Lately, I've noticed the engine does a clicking sound like someone is playing a trophy triangle in a distance, meaning the sound is noticeable but not loud. It was time to do 100-hour maintenance, and after adjusting the valves very accurately the noise remains. Oil pressure is good at around 40 psi. I suspect pushrods are worn, or maybe a re-tightening of the heads is needed? Anyone ever had this problem?
Thanks

Settingf the tappet clearances wwould minimise any problems if there were any from the pushrods but doubt it this. Might be worth removing the drive belt and checking that the alternatot fan is not sometimes touching the body of the alternator sometimes this happens if it has had a bump and got bent as a result. If it is this then find which section is rubbing the body and carefully bend it clear.

Thanks, I have a car alternator with an internal fan. Still trying to locate the issue:)
