McNulty valuation

I have been offered a McNulty open motor launch with Yanmar single cylinder diesel. Age unsure, but possibly <10 years old, length 18 ft. Condition of interior is good and outside needs a rub down and varnish and probably new rope fendering.
I am tempted but £8.5k seems a lot for an oversized rowing boat.
Any thoughts?

My 8 foot mcnulty rowing tender cost 1000 12 years ago, so I reckon 8500 is over the top for 18 foot one with inboard engine, more like 4-5k. But you could always haggle. I saw and tried to buy a 12 foot longstone, for 2250. Missed it.
