Does anyone have the details of the colours of connection to the aeriel and the display, and of the display to power and GPS?
Manual elsewhere and I need to test it is really caput before I send it back to McMurdo!
Has anyone had the aeriel fail and were they able to repair it.
Thanks in anticipation

My ICS aerial failed after two years. I had to buy a new one from McMurdo. If you telephone them, they will give instructions. If you do not follow them, you may have to buy a new cable as well. Guess what I did! The aerial had water and a good growth of algae inside.

I have a Nav6+ antenna unit (and cable) surplus to requirements if anyone needs one. I am sure we could work out a price. I used the Nav6+ in the Med but since I now have the boat back in Aust where we do not have the luxury of such services, I don't need it. I want to keep the display unit because it is a very good repeater at the chart table for my instruments.

The antenna I have is a replacement after water ingress of the first unit which lasted 2 years. The early units used coated mild steel screws to close the top/bottom of the housing and they eventually rusted, expanded and cracked the case to allow water in. The replacement uses ss screws and looks to be happy and dry.
