I think there should be a vote to exclude the anorak aka jfm, obviously spends too much time staring at gorgeous models :D

I'll second that. I'm sure there's something devious about the way he seems to win every week. Praps he splits the prize money with the moderators:)

I know the Sarnico range well. Gorgeous machines; always loved them. My boat was parked right next to the Sarnico fleet at Cannes Boat show this September so I had a good look at them.

Where did you get the pic from Jack? Not off Sarnico's website I'm guessing, because their photo boat doesn't have the port side capstan?

Also does anyone know where the website photos are taken? I thought Lavezzi or Corsica (Scandola) initially, but I'm not sure. Maybe Italy somewhere? Anyone know for sure, with a Lat/Long?

From the colour of the rocks, I'd bet that was somewhere on the Costa Smerelda in Sardinia

The pics are from a dusty old press disc that we found in the office.

I have to agree .. so distinctive .. and the Spyder makes Riva look OK --ish.

But the real test is what the OB factor is .. perhaps Wakeup can adjudicate? I suspect more OB/metre than others? :)

Our Italian friends are quiet ... perhaps not as good as a fender kicker like me thinks?

Yup, that's very plausible. Or the Madellena Islands nearby. I'd love a lat/long though
Yup, it's probably the Maddalena area.
In the background of another pic on their website, it's visible a ugly grey ship which reminds me of the US supply vessel which used to be moored in S.Stefano, South of Maddalena.
But guessing exactly the place of the above pic is indeed hard, because the scenario is quite common around there.
One bay which popped to my mind, and which also after a quick check on Google Maps I think could be the one, is that on the right side of this area, in Caprera island (E of Maddalena).
