Anyone noticed that the last 2 issues of MBY have been a bit smaller in size and contain fewer pages than some other recent editions? The price of course hasnt gone down accordingly. Obviously some cost savings going on at MBY Towers. I guess the editor's company Bentley is up for replacement shortly:D

I used to look forward to the arrival of MBY & MBM each month, then went to just one a month and I think it's gradually gone down hill from there, in fact I haven't really read the last 4 properly and seriously thinking of cancelling subscription if it doesn't improve

Interesting, i thought they've been quite good. Thinner maybe, but I'm not a fan of packing it out with super yacht stuff. I've quite enjoyed the varied range of cruise reports recently especially the family rib holiday reported last month.

Mike, I haven't noticed any reduction in copy. In fact if the copy has not reduced, but the advertising has, the Bentley may well be replaced by a Superb.

Thats very kind of you! We wont be bringing the boat back to Antibes until around 6/7/8 July. Maybe I can buy you a drink?

All special interest mags have a limited amount of stuff they can cover.

MBY is:

New boats - look like all the rest but this one's got sharp edges on the galley units

Someone went somewhere - it rained a bit but there was great seafood in the restaurant when they got there.

Comparisons of stuff you won't buy - fleeces to mittens

Why not buy this second hand boat that some broker can't sell for love nor money?

Light-relief pix of the editor and the one other surviving journalist

Seasonal tips - Now the new season's upon us/Hot, hot, hot/Time to put the boat away/OMG it's freezing out there

Recycle as necessary: there must be some new punters who haven't read this stuff six times...aren't there?

I tell you whats also gone missing these days though is some hot totty draped across gleaming GRP. I guess thats the modern world we live in
