Oh what a gaffe...who writes this stuff...???

MBY Forts of call West and North wales. pages 126-132.

Quote "Between the arms of they Lleyn and Gower Peninsulas, Cardigan Bay encompasses almost the entire west coast of wales".

Of course it isnt sandwiched between the Gower and the LLeyn... the Gower is bloody miles away in South Wales between Swansea and Rhossilli to be precise.

I also Notice from the map on page 128 that the Whole of Pembrokeshire has been re-named as the Gower peninsula.
The Gower is in fact the bit that the bottom left part of the inset frame is touching, adjacent to Swansea Bay.

I thought that Basic geography was a prerequisite educational standard before attempting cruising Navigation, or indeed writing about it...er... obviously not at MBY.

Absolutely atrocious basic errors.

I think the attemt is to move it bit by bit, so it goes unnoticed. It's eventual relocation is I believe, The North Pole. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Proof reading - probably done in MS Word using the American dictionary as they don't know how to change to the UK English one.
