MBM\'s Rodman article

The current MBM issue has an article on the Rodman 38 (see p100). It’s a nice article giving the Rodman the thumbs up and obviously the owner is/was very happy with her. In the last paragraph the owner states “he is very impressed with the Rodman range, and if I won the lottery I would buy the biggest boat in it!” Estimated value in MBM is £205K…… Well the owner must of come up on the lottery. How did I come to this conclusion! The said boat “Sally Rose” is up for sale at £185K (see p161 Opal marine sales).

Re: MBM\'s Rodman article

bet he remains a stinky for some time at that price -

this is not a reflection on Rodman (my wish is an 1120) simply 10-15% down on purchase price is going to need the sort of sort of supply/demand associated with Cranchi's Endurance 39 a few years ago or the Botnia Targa range! (there may be others but I do know these)

Re: MBM\'s Rodman article

The Rodman range covers two different types of boat. They have a Sport Fishing range and the Rodman "yachts" which are big flybridge boats. The 38 is the baby of the Flybridge range and I think they go up to at least 65 foot and probably larger, at probably a price only for Rollover winners!

I suspect the 38 on E at Port Solent is the Ancasta Sales boat (The Sport Fisher range are sold by Sea Sport) so I am sure that you can ask to have a look around.
