The question was
Why we cant match the way the USA distributes magazines, not about the content of MBM.
The USA deals on volume as its somewhat bigger than the UK, their subscription model is very different.
Having just returned from a US show and exhibiting next to 3 US magazines, let me tell you they struggle to shift mags at 10$ for three years! In fact we shifted twice as many subscriptions as they did for 60$ for one year but thats a different argument as it was a sailboat show.
I am not getting into a debate about the content of MBM, I will leave that to editorial, but as already been said the main reason for a somewhat thinner issue is mainly due to the downtown in ad revenue.
