Just to confirm that there is nothing to read into this other than us wanting to include full coverage of the Southampton Boat Show in our November issue. If we'd stuck to our normal publication date of the first Thursday of every month our print deadline would have fallen immediately after the first weekend. With the Cannes show also falling in the same week, we simply wouldn't have been able to cope so we took the decision to postpone publication by 1 week.

My mistake was not remembering to explain this in the previous issue as it was a decision we took back in January. Apologies for not giving subscribers fair warning, although I'm secretly heartened that so many of you noticed! You should get your issues this week. I'm hoping you'll think it was worth the wait.

Thanks Hugo for the explanation. I appreciate also that there are are only really two of you full time!

Whats odd is my Car mag - normally mid month came out Friday a week early.

The December issue is due to be dispatched from the printers on Fri 3 Nov so likely to arrive with subscribers around Tues 7 Nov. This is a little bit later than normal to give us time to catch up with ourselves. Normal service should be resumed from the Jan issue onwards.
