May I interest anyone in an Italian dinner?

I just bought an item on eBay whose seller, located in Braintree (Essex), would prefer to have picked up.
I would highly appreciate if anyone around that area could pick it up and ship it to me in Italy - refunding the shipping cost, needless to say.
The offer to reciprocate the favour with an Italian dinner is valid also onboard, of course... :)
TIA !

Aha, now we're on to you, buying your new vessel in bits to re assemble in Italy:encouragement:

I'm in Essex, but Braintree is about a 50 mile round trip for me. Hopefully someone nearer will pitch in, but if not, I'm sure I could help out.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Braintree means an armed guard required too P. Might need Dolce as well as Prima Piatta :D

We are a 140 mile round trip away from Braintree but if I have someone going out that way to pick a Porsche I will keep you in mind.

There should be someone more local though. I will keep an eye on the thread.

It's only 13 or 14 miles from Stanstead Airport if someone is flying in.

I should be passing through Braintree next Monday afternoon if nobody lives in that area

If no-one local can do it, and it's small (not a pair of Cats, I mean) I can send a motorbike from the office to collect it. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Haha, you are half correct, actually.
It's just a Raymarine screen, meant as the first (small) upgrade of the new toy.
Hoping to not be pushing my luck, considering that the sea trial will be next week...
But it seemed like new, and the price was reasonable, so I thought what the heck, in the worst case I'll sell it again! :D

Many thanks folks for your availability, it's nice to see that IT can still have at least some culinary attraction...
So far it looks like it might be less of a trouble for Deleted User, if he will already go there.
I'll get in touch later...

PM seller address and contact details and will collect.

Case sorted!
Many thanks folks, I'm overwhelmed by the response.
Makes me feel that the least I could do is confirm the offer in the thread title to all those who gave me their availability!
Which would be a pleasure, and great fun - as long as you don't mind a rather long trip, that is...
...not to mention that even my current and next boat together would be nowhere near capable to host a party of 200, I'm afraid! :D
