I am looking at changing it for alloy or s/s bit what size should I go for

we use the boat for wakeboard and inflatables also cruising some I need a all round prop until I can afford to have 2 props

a 19" prop would be good for watersports.look for a laser II or similar on fleabay.£50/100 is a good deal on a stainless 2nd hand one.
steel developments can repair yours but a garmin chartplotter will tell you how deep the water is and an s model can be fitted with sonar transducer.will pay its way and good for fish finding too.
to late now but the closest land is always under your boat.

Second vote for Steel Developments.. Just got my prop from them and service was brilliant..

What was wrong with the prop you are replacing?? Why not replace with the same size/pitch??

are these propellers any good

14-1/2 x 19 Michigan Wheel Vortex Propeller [part number 992004]

including XHS Hub

@wipeout the boat seemed to take a long time to get out the water and I was looking at the sky for a long time lol

I obviously have a very different boat (sports cruiser) but I have just changed from a Michigan Wheel 3 blade 17" prop to a Solas Rubex 4 blade 17" prop and its made a huge difference.. Much more bite on the water, quicker onto a plane, faster top speed and lower RPM plane speed..

Comparing the two props I would say the Solas has a much better shape and design to the blade compared to the Michigan Wheel prop..
