Sh!t. After several years of problems with this expensive software I have more or less come to terms with living with it, but now I fitted a new JRC sounder and can't get it to talk to Maxsea. Tried tech support at JRC but no answer, so went to Maxsea, knowing the first thing they would say is get an upgrade to version 12, only £400, so told them not to bother with that. The reply?
"Unfortunately, due to the constant evolution of IT technology and of our products, we do not support technically MaxSea versions former than version 12.6.
In order to get access to a technical support, you can contact your local reseller or upgrade your software to 12.6.4.1". In the meantime I have found that the sounder does not support this data output so that would be a waste of money. Wish I'd bought Olex.
