Maxi 1000 owners comments please

Is the Maxi 1000 a stable, sound, fast, well built and well behaved boat to consider buying please. Plus any other owner comments or advice to help make the decision.

I have chartered 2 different Maxi 1000s, I charter a lot of different yachts and the Maxi is the best of all. I hope to own one sometime, they seem to be worth 70 to 80 thousand.
With a nice dark blue hull.......
