Max Horsepower re gearboxs

Before anybody says it...yes i,am thick....i can,t get my head round this.
The gearbox which was fitted to my project has a maxium hp rating of 1.67bhp per 100rpm.
The max rpm of the engine is 4000 producing 75hp,how do you work it out to check it,s the right gearbox???......not using this gearbox but someone want,s to buy it <font color=red> HELP!!!

At a guess1.67 * 40 (4000/100) = 66.8hp @ 4000rpm
75hp@4000rpm = 1.875hp per 100 rpm

as torque is a product of bhp and speed I guess its a simple way of torque rating the box.
