Does the name (mogoose of helford) mean anything to any body. If so please forward any info. I think she was moored on the hamble river, in the fifty's. thanks.
I think there was an article about her in YM when she was built. If it's the same boat (and I think it is), my Dad and I looked over her many years ago, and the then owner had a copy of it. She was kept on the Hamble at that point (1970's)
Might be worth asking YM if they have archive copies that far back* and, if so, whether they can let you have a photocopy. I think MG designed her as a motor sailer for gentlemen who were tired of proceeding everywhere on their ears. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
*(Sorry - I'm being a bit confusing: I think she was built very late 40's/early 50's, not in the 70's).
