Mastervolt Charger?

I have a Mastervolt Dakar Combi, Inverter, Charger 12v/1500/65 and 3 x140ah Varta Professional LFD140 (18 months old).

When on shore power the charger goes through it's usual Bulk, Absorption, Float cycles. At the end of the Absorption cycle the batteries get to around 78% charged and goes no further in Float mode. It should get to 100% in Absorption, which it did until a few weeks ago. It's currently charging in Absorption at 14.12v, 4A.

Any ideas what's going on and how to charge to 100%?

How do you know it's only getting to 78%? What monitor are you using?

is this a 12 or 24 volt system? Just noticed the 28.89V on the display.

The manual will tell you how to reset the monitor and synchronise it to your batteries.

I've found a function in the set up menu that re-sets the Ahrs to 100% = fully charged. It puts the display back to 100%, but I'm not sure that the batteries are actually fully charged... and I don't think there's anything I've done to cause the value to be set differently. The manual says it automatically determines the actual capacity of the batteries and adjusts the 100% level, although the translation from Dutch might be a bit suspect.

The Mastervolt does a pretty good job of it. A bit like the process KompetentKrew is suggesting.
