I have found the new mast for our Etap 23, only thing is in Scotland/ Glasgow ....
Mast is 7.5m long, 35 kg weight.
Any sugestions what will be the best / cheapest way?
Thanks

Look into the possibility of piggy backing onto a boat delivery or its return trip.

Alternatively (but riskier) depending on where it is, is to contact a general haulage company to have it included with other goods.

Cheapest is to hire a long wheelbase flat bed van would be circa £120 for w/e unlimited mileage , if driving at night would need lighting on load and may need to raise the rear on a small frame or maybe a workmate the dropside trucks have rope fixings so you just need rachet straps and padding there are rules for overhangs but the vehicle will be 5m so marker boards may not be needed.

I have to take a 6.5m rib to henshaws in Somerset for a re tube later this week we live close to Glasgow .I'd expect the mast would sit on the trailer under the rib without any overhang (depending on spreaders etc) if it was worth my while I might take a detour & drop it off for you
Where is it & where is it going
how much are you expecting to pay to get it delivered?
Ken
