I have a westerly Jouster and need to do some work up the mast. Will a 24' mast support the weight of a 14.5 st man?

I regularly went up the mast of my MG Spring 25, I weight over 16 st.

...I have to wonder if the pictured example doesn't have a much tougher mast than my boat...I'd be reluctant to climb my mast!
Still, considering how much stress is applied by two-up trapeze crews on dinghies, I expect any 24ft yacht will have enough strength to support one man climbing.
But don't try it without a mate on board!

I wonder why they didn't just capsize it and work from the water.
