Mast and boom cleaning

Can anyone advise of a product which effectively cleans and restores the appearance of a silver anodized mast and boom.
After a few years the mast looks tarnished and I cannot find a cleaning product or polish that actually works.
All suggestions welcome.

Polish with 3m "Fibreglass Cleaner and Wax" Then wipe over with Owatrol (remember to dispose of the rag carefully as it has been known to self combust)
