Depends how stiff it is and the length of the shaft, I wear them most days and find that certain shirts give a more generous cuff. I get my shirts made to measure, it is not that expensive infact it is very cheap really, you can then have the cuffs made to measure, even allowing for a chunky watch that you may have on one wrist. When you are choosing cufflinks, check the shaft length, some look trendy but are not properly thought out /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Everyone to their own, I do have some chained ones but prefer the rigidity of shafts. If your cuffs are too tight it doesn't matter you use it will look daft and feel uncomfortable, same as if they are too loose /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
