I undertook a hasty antifoul last week & bought Harris decorators tape instead of the cheapest In excess type as normal (3 bloomin hulls as well) Due to timing left waterline masked for a couple of days - the tape has degenerated. I don't know if sun & rain has caused this but now will only come off in 2 mml nail scrapes & still leaves much residue.
Have tried soaking with turps meths etc but with only minor improvment. Its worse than sanding the thing !
Any ideas ?

Rapid electronics (quick postage even up here) and I dare say a lot of other places sell wee cans of adhesive label removers - sticker removing spray that is.

Do you think that would work?

Made same mistake and tried everything I could think of, solvents, razor blades, scrapers. Finally tried wallpaper steamer, Brilliant hull unaffected and tape and adhesive just wiped off.
Although I have never used them I think 3M make tapes that have various times of exposure to the elements
