Hopefully we will leave Marseille ( Port Saint Louis actually) Mid May heading for Cagliari in Southern Sardinia and taking say 2 weeks for the trip.
We are ashore at the Navy Yard and re-masting etc. after 2 years in canals, consequently we will probably head for the nearest marina just to check out the essentials ready for sea.
The rough plan is to sail ( hop) along the French coast until the best crossing for Corsica (Alghero) then down the Corsican west coast through the straights and then down the East Sardinian coast to Cagliari.
Any recommendations for 'ports of call' ( or warnings ) and any advice on the best jumping off point France to Corsica ( we reckon that is a day/night/day sail )
Thanks for your help.
