Marmalade back in Oostende

[Marmalade]

Well - here we are again - hols over pretty much. In the last ten days we've been to

Middelburg - big tick
Goes - tick again; good stuff for the kids
Zierikzee for the mussel festival - again, the children love it there as do we;
Breskens
Back to Oostende

now waiting for a good weather window to sail back across.

On the whole we've had OK weather but certainly not what you'd call summer

Wed: W 4-5, back WSW 4
Thu: W 4, back WSW 3-4
Fri: 2-3 Var (we're motoring over Fri)
Sat: E 3-4, veer SE 5
Sun: 2-3 Var, then SW 4 (hopefully sailing back)

Temp in low 20's - no significant rain before Sun evening

crew weather window - F5 on the nose for 12 hours = quite a lot of ear'ole bashing for yours truly...

Dunno - When do you stop learning? When do you know everything?
When can you say - I'm finnished, I can't be improved in any way?

I look at it this way: whatever doesn't kill me, makes me stronger.
My family's been told twice that I wouldn't make it or that I would never walk again... Still hanging in there.
