I have made a number of posts recently on my project to squeeze a recently purchased small speedboat onto my Azimut 43. Forum members have as usual, kindly offered much useful advice.
Now for the $64,000 question. The only information I have on the boat is that its just under 3 metres long with 2 seats, in GRP and 16 were apparently built by Marlin Marine in the UK in the early 90s, 15 of which went to the Med. A photo is attached.
Does anybody know anything about these speedboats, please, good or bad, also, how they behave at sea? I have not been able to try it and am about to start extensive modifications. It only has a 10hp Evinrude (which will be uprated to 15hp), so I am not expecting it to be a rocket ship!
In the meantime, a happy New Year to one and all!
John.

I would think that being so small this boat should be restricted to very flat water. A speed boat is susceptible to broaching into waves or flipping bow up and over and being so short it will be I imagine more susceptible than most. So hardly more than a novelty boat, but good luck anyway olewill.
