I have started the process of replacing two very old Vauxhall diesel engines in my Fairline 26 with two Endura DI engines. I believe these are described as the XLD-418 when in a marine environment. The difficulty I have come to is that the Injection pump on this engine is 'Fly by wire' and there are other electrical enhancements that are a problem. I need to change my Injector pump to a more basic model that will accept cable control, but will still be compatible with my turbo diesel.
Has anyone used the Endura DI in their boat and how did they overcome\work around\solve the problem?
