Having finished my Christmas lunch, I am now going to tuck into some Lamb's Navy, and I know I will enjoy it.

Many of my yachting friends are big fans of dark rum - what is it about mariners and rum?? Tradition maybe?? Any of you out there joining me?

Re: actually.....

we, the 3 dads, got through the majority of a bottle of basic 'golden' rum...mixed 2 parts rum, 1 part fresh lime, 1 part sugar syrup and shaken over ice - we almost felt as if we with Matt - almost, but not quite!
Happy Christmas to all

PS the Mountgay is on the boat for swigging when a decent fish is landed.

That's not a real Slippery Nipple Brendan ..... the nipple is missing (it should have grenadine on the bottom)
