There are 2 nuts to remove (brass I think). The smaller one came off no problem but the larger one didn't seem to want to budge - I didn't want to put too much pressure on it in case I broke something on the shaft.
I was wondering if perhaps this one has a reverse thread - or should I just go for it and give it a big wrench (maybe after applying some heat)?

According to the service manual you just undo the bolt! No mention of a reverse thread. The manual recomends use a block of wood between the prop and cavitation plate to jam the prop...so they obviously expect to use a bit of wellie.

Don't forget to grease the prop/shaft when you put it back on.

You may have a high reverse thrust prop (particularly if your rngine is the sailpro model) If this is the case then the prop should slide to and fro on the shaft by approx 10mm.
