I have a fifty hp mariner two stroke that won’t start , there is a spark on all plugs , I’ve had the carbs off and checked they are all clean , the plugs remain dry so it would seem obvious that the carbs are blocked somewhere but as I’ve said they have been removed and cleaned , I have also put a sheet of paper in front of the carbs and it is sucked inwards , with the plugs out I can only feel outgoing pressure and no sucking on my thumb , and I most certainly can feel suction on smaller outboard engines, all thoughts would be very welcome, thanks for taking the time read this.
