Mariner 5 HP fuel mix??

Hello, I was out in the caribbean about a year & a half ago. Our old 2HP outboard packed up, so I picked up a 2nd hand 5HP Mariner, which I only used for a couple of weeks before laying the boat up again.

I have had the boat shipped back & I am wanting to 'un-winterise' the outboard, but I can't remember if the fuel mix was 25:1 or 50:1.

Can anyone help?

Mine is 1994 model and is 50:1

50:1 so my manual says but err on the safe side!

Take care not to overdose with oil on that model. If you go beyond 25:1 it will not run well and will start badly, due to the petrol not atomising with too much gloopy oil in it. I'd keep it strictly 50:1
