Hi all,

Where is the best place to source spares for the larger Mariners? (60hp 2006). I've done all the usual Google/eBay searches, but all I seem to get are suppliers in the States.

Any help much appreciated. S.

Hi. She’s is just a Mercury, but branded as a mariner. Lots of parts available from any merc dealer or loads on eBay too. Splash marine and pacer marine are really good. Both on eBay.
If she’s defo a 2 stroke at 2006 age…she’s unusually recent sounding. Just need to make sure not to mix up with 4 stroke version parts

Yes it's apparently the last model produced. I hear good things about them but not had chance to try it yet.

Hi, only took delivery of the boat last week, but there appears to be a leak of oil from the top of the tank when the motor is tilted right up. Further investigation required when I get back down there, but looking at the diagram you kindly sent me I'm thinking it may be the large seal on the top of the tank that I need.

Very interesting. I'll have a good look and see if a new seal will help. Maybe something I'll have to live with. I don't think the previous owner used the tilt very much so probably didn't notice, but I will have to as I'm on a drying mooring. Cheers.
