Anyone used Marinemegastore,com for parts ? I have placed 3 orders now , not seen any , told initially the first one left last week on Parcelforce and when I pushed for a tracking number it was actually only sent yesterday and on Fedex plus the Fedex number they gave me doesnt exist.

You have to speak to them via an online chat thing which is a pain in the arse and when you try and phone them , you are hanging for some time

Not at all impressed with their service and wont be using them again but wondered if I was the only person who had problems

There are LOTS of threads on various forums about this shower. I will never, ever order from them again.

You should've asked Google.

MarineMegastore (Not to be confused with MarineSuperstore!) have an _awful_ reputation. Essentially, as I understand it, they don't carry any stock. When an order is placed, they take the money, then order the parts from the suppliers before sending them on to the customer. They won't inform you if there are any delays and will essentially keep you hanging until you eventually get the part or demand a refund.
 
I have been trying to find an obsolete colour of International Interdeck. Last week I found it listed on the Marine Megastore website.

In view of the terrible reputation of MM I thought I would play safe and check that they really did have it in stock before parting with my money.

I tried the chat line twice. First time I gave up after trying for half an hour. The second time I got through to someone after a lengthy delay and asked him to check that the really did have it in stock. After a further delay, while someone searched their no doubt vast warehouse, I was told they didn't have it in stock because that colour was no longer available. Apparently it hasn't been available for years so why MM don't update their website is hard to understand.

Anyway, a less than satisfactory first experience with MM. I won't be going back for more.
