I called at 08.10 BST today Monday for a 5 day English Channel forecast. What I received was a 5 day English Channel forecast created last Friday, very informative about past weather but not what I paid for. This web site, (or link from it), advises the marinecall info is updated daily, well so far as I can see it's not been updated for three days.

I have emailed Marinecall asking how I get a credit and when there service will operate normally and will post the reply.

I'm looking into this and will advise when I've got some feedback from Marinecall.

Well you see we're different in that respect, you want wind and I don't, and I don't care about rain cause I've got a wheelhouse! For that matter I don't care about the cold either. Blessed calm is what I'm looking for.

Hi John, dont want too much wind but a little less rain woulod help. That's the problem of appointing a drought minister, it then pisses down for days on end!! Perhaps a sunshine minister should now be appointed! We used to have a Colvic Watson 35 with wheelhouse and bags of space but she sailed like a bungalow! If you fancy some crewing etc then give me a call as hope to go down to The Solent at teh end of the week, weather permitting!

Marinecall have not so far seen fit to respond to me despite a reminder email. I could telephone of course, but it's an 0870 number which has a premium cost for me as my BT calling plan is supposed to be free for the 1st hour, but doesn't include 0845/0870 etc numbers; and marinecall don't bother to list a regular number.
