Marine timber near Maldon?

I need to get some Douglas Fir for a mast splice, some Pitch Pine for a plank repair and some marine ply for covering the old decking. Can anyone tell me where I might obtain such treasure near Maldon? I've got the Robbins catalogue, which is impressive, but I woder if there's a supplier nearer the boat.

Brooks Bros at Maldon or Danbury would be a good starting place.
Thorogoods at Ardleigh are also excellent.
