Yippee............ after going through a few of the well known names for a renewal quote for the coming year who still couldnt beat the Nav & General quote that Steve Knipe at Porthcawl Insurance clicky was quoting me, he's managed to shave another £100 quid off by moving to Allianz so now only £600.

No relation Im just a happy customer who has used them for the last 5/6 years and I think he deserves to get some more business from the forum

You'll only find out how good your insurance company is when you submit a claim. Nav & Gen have acted very honourably on a couple of claims I've had in the past so I've stuck with them despite the fact that they're not the cheapest. What's a £100 or so when you're insuring something worth tens or hundreds of thousands?

Appreciate that Mike, but I have a general mistrust of ALL insurance companies so I do expect a lot of wrangling over any potential ins claim (god forbid) and I think the same could apply to any of them
