Marine Electronics Show at NEC

I nthink this is on again in late October. Has anyone been to it before? Any good? I'm curious as to how they fill NEC with this stuff, there aren't enough gizmos from Furuno, Simrad, Raymarine et al to fill it, so is it full of heavy industrial ship equipment and therefore not suitable for 15metre boating?

Would be grateful if anyone knows, don't want to make a wasted trip

If it is mainly for commercial shipping take my advice. Put on a wrinkled badly fitting dark blue suit a pair of brown shoes look uncomfortable in your garb and talk with a Greek accent whilst winking and saying "Porso Kannis" as you point to an item. The salesmen will assume you are with a shipping line and give you samples or offer an inducement. If this fails to work sneeringly say "pezzaviki" to them and walk away.
