I would just like to post a Forum thanks to JackMeTickler (aka Sandy) who, in response to my request in an earlier post for a Marine Electrical Engineer recommend in Gosport, offered his services free of charge.
He came down to the boat today and, after some investigation, located the problem and solution.
All he would accept in exchange was a cup of tea and, when pressed, a donation to his supported local marine charity.
It is not often a complete stranger offers his professional services for free, particularly when the word 'marine' is involved. It is nice to meet a gentleman whose life does not revolve around making the next buck.
So, Sandy, many thanks and all the best with your future ventures.
