Hi Folks,

I've been advised to try this message here...

I didn't want to assume my boat was a classic...

My old 1967 yacht (groan - not 'im again) - Northley 34 has a hardwood interior that was obviously installed by an expert and lover of fine woods.

Certain plywood additions in later years were clearly not by the original builder

Ideally - I'd like to rip out the new stuff and get it done properly, but I'm no cabinet maker.

Is anyone aware of a firm or individual within reach of Bristol or elsewhere who could do justice to the boat?

By the way - the yacht is at the Bristol Brokerage if anyone wants to pop in over the harbour festival weekend and offer moral support for the restoration to former glories.

Im a sucker for messing around on boats but your a few hours away /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif If you can get the panels to me as templates i can copy them for you .
Im near Twickenham , West London .
Sorry i cant recommend anyone local but maybe a trip to your local timber yard may get you a craftsman .
