[snowleopard]

I often see paintings of boats in galleries in this part of the world. I couldn't bear to have a picture of a boat on my wall with glaring errors. I have been given a painting of a trawler with a bone in its teeth, obviously on passage to/from home with no fishing cones hoisted. How unrealistic is that?

Yer,and another thing all those silly dutch boatmen in small boats in infernal seas without a life jacket between them and there always seems to be a bouy floating about to snare props....
