Does the injector cleaner work on a bukh dv20. Mine is blowing white smoke and it is not steam. I have an internal.exhaust temp sensor and it measures around 40-48 deg when running. The smoke has a strong smell.

It smells like diesel very strong and can make you feel sick. This might be of interest:

Noticed this season it seems worse. It smokes even more if pushing into a current and towing a dinghy. Prop is clean and the bottom is spotless.has the 'smoke' come on suddenly or has it built up over, say, a season or two? What maintenance had you undertaken before the 'smoke' appeared (and what maintenance since it appeared)? TBH I doubt an injector additive will resolve the issue, but it is worth an (easy & cheap) try
Hi I concur with Rotrax, injectors, or their lack of servicing, is likely to be the issue. One thing to flag on that topic which was drummed into me by a chap that serviced injectors for a living... "don't use pattern parts, they are cr*p" ... This might be a bit unfair on all pattern parts suppliers but for the hassle involved in the removal and re-installation of injectors then it is worth paying a little more for genuine parts... ask your preferred supplier the question....Noticed this season it seems worse.
