Evening,

We have a Marinco shore power (16 amp) connector on the boat. i have bought an unmetered cable which is fine but i need a meter to allow the marina to charge me!

Any suggestions as to where to get a short metered shore power cable in or around the solent over the next few days? seems the marinas only sell long cables with the usual 3 pin plugs and i dont fancy loads of electric cable around the place!

thank you.

I have a spare..short cabled...quite new... fancy making me an offer...?

I will bring it to the boat, we are down Friday evening, but off 9.30am Saturday, & we will be back Sunday 4pm latest, take a look, if its what you want great, if not I won't be offended.

Buy a long one and cut the excess cable off. Our main shorepower lead is long enough to reach the pontoon and some, so we just have the meter on about 8 feet of cable so it plugs in to the pontoon socket, and then the main lead pugs into the meter. If we go elsewhere, we just remove the meter...

I have one no longer of use (Ocean Village),
£50 as its pretty much as new, reads only 500, but Im not in the country till boatshow weekend if thats not too late.

Can send pics if you PM me an email,
