Are there any Chandlery's in Rome. I am going there for a week and it would not be a proper holiday if I did not buy something for the Boat.
And If I buy something significant and cant bring it back due to the tiny hand baggage allowance are there any firms like UPS, TNT, Business Post etc, I could go to and send it back to the UK.
Please.

You mean Roma, Italy, I guess...
If yes, the marinas are approximately 20 km west of the city at the mouth of Tevere (Tiber) where Fiumicino and Ostia are. I am afraid you may need a car because reaching them by public transport is rather complicate although possible.
The largest marina is Porto di Roma (Ostia) but there are many smaller ones along the two branches of Tevere (Fiumicino).
Regarding chandlers you will find some inside Porto di Roma and a few in Fiumicino and of course there are all kind of couriers in Roma. As an Italian boat owner myself I hardly understand why you wish to buy something in this country since I need to order abroad most of the chandlery I need!
If I were you I would rather go for local wine, cheese, bread, etc etc :)
In fact my advice is to visit the smaller marinas along the Tiber branch called Fiumara Grande and have lunch or dinner in one of their restaurants. Great food!

Another vote for the little 'port' of Fiumicino. I used to spend hours there rather than stay at the airport in between flights. My sails were built there by Bianchi & Migliori. I agree with danielefua about chandleries but then we all like to do a bit of window-shopping don't we? ;)

Airline fees continued to rise as well as charges for luggages. Well, that’s the reality of life, as time passes by almost everything continued to increase especially the primary needs of every individual. How many times have you expected more information on types of payday loans, and turned to an internet search on "Where can I get a payday loan?"
