I guess they're increasing the fee because they know they'll have to pay towards the upkeep of the Heugh breakwater otherwise the sea will be pounding the marina lock gates.
Looks a nice marina though. I was up there looking at the boats a couple of months ago

dont laugh fell's Ive just taken my boat there!..and believe me I was NOT pleased when I heard!
they have just sold out and from what I hear its to ..guess who ......thats right ........&%%$%$% MDL !

oh just a little aside ...Hartlepool ..want a quick mid season scrub off....that'll be £210 sir ..for a 28 footer!
NO SCRUBBING POSTS!..and when I raised the subject I had to explain in words of one syllable what I was talking about !
Scrubbing Posts? ..nah mate never 'eard of em !
Luckily Sunderland ..20 odd miles away.. has a pad ! and is the same cost annually! £1300 PA for 28ft
as I understand it 100+ boats will be voting with their keels come spring!
