Had to do some ice breaking to get out of shamrock quay this morning. Although it's not as cold on the water as it was yesterday. -7 yesterday morning. Will try and post a pic later

A nice selection of photos there, unusual for it to be warmer up here, no minus temps forecast over the next 5 days.

frozen teign

I stayed aboard the lenyvee thursday night at my mooring on the Teign.I boarded to check the domestic waterpipes etc. Pleasant nights sleep with the eberspacher on full blast,I woke at 5am to see out of the window what appeared to be large plastic bags floating along with the ebb tide. turns out the river was frozen and the plastic bags were ice floes.The river is 1/3rd mile wide where Im parked,and these floes stretched from one side to the other in close proximity. had a great ride to shore crunchig through the ice in my dingy
