Marina di Sibari closed?

Heard that Sibari on the arch of the boot of Italy is closed due to silting . Does any one know if this is true ? Cant get an answer from their E mail . Tried phoning no answer but web site still there

There was some info on the CA MedSec website, allied with a comment that someone at Brindisi had been robbed at gunpoint.

Have now managed to make contact with them by phone . They were closed last year as the inlet channel was silted up . This was subsequently cleared and they have been in operation all this summer . Speak good English too although they dont answer E mails
